Friends, family and people from throughout Sargent Shriver's life gathered at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Potomac, Maryland to honor him. Mourners came from all walks of life - teachers and politicians, celebrities and average citizens, rich and poor. They came to honor all that he embodied: service, dedication, compassion, humility, reciprocity and the spirit of charity. But most of all love and respect for all human beings.
