We’re looking forward to attending the 2026 Community Action Partnership National Convention, taking place September 2-4 in Saint Louis, Missouri. On Thursday, September 3, at 10:30 AM, SSPI Executive Director, Lucy Di Rosa, and University of Chicago Professor Adam Green will discuss Sargent Shriver’s War on Poverty memoir, We Called it a War, and reflect on the history of and opportunities for Community Action in a session entitled “Economic Mobility: Learning from the Past, Advancing in the Present, Planning for the Future.” If you’re planning on attending the conference, please say hello!
